මාර්තු මස 9 වන දින, කටුනායක ෆුල්මූන් හෝටලයේදී, Standup movement lanka ආයතනය ජාත්‍යන්තර කාන්තා දිනය මහත් හරසරින් සමරන ලදී. එහි ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස සහභාගි වූයේ , කථාන ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයෙහි , ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් ,ගරු සුමුදු අතුකෝරාල මහත්මිය වන අතර, ප්‍රදේශයෙහි වෘතීය සමිති හා සිවිල් සංවිධාන වන, ඩබිඳු සාමූහිකය, RED ආයතනය, ඇඟලුම් හා රෙදි පිළි සේවක සංගමය, වතුකරයේ ජනතා හඬ සංවිධානය, කලාපීය ව්‍යාපාරයක් වන Asia Floor Wage ආයතනය, මේ සඳහා සම්බන්ධ විය. එමෙන්ම මෙහිදී තාක්ෂණික සහාය ලබා දෙන ලද්දේ biya production කණ්ඩායම විසිනි.

Standup Movement Lanka ආයතනය, මැදිහත්ව ක්‍රියා කරන, ක්ෂේත්‍ර හතරම නියෝජනය කරමින් ( නිදහස් වෙළඳ කලාපීය ශ්‍රමිකයන්, LGBTQ ප්‍රජාව නියෝජනය කරන සේවකයන්, අවිධිමත් ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ සේවකයන්, හා සංක්‍රමණික සේවකයන් ) නියෝජිතයන් පිරිසක් මෙම වැඩසටහන සඳහා සම්බන්ධ වූ අතර, සංස්කෘතික අංග සඳහා සහාය දක්වන ලද්දේ, stand up movement lanka ආයතනයට අනුබද්ධව ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පෙර පාසලේ අනුග්‍රහය ඇතුවය.

International womens day celibration

On March 9th, Standup Movement Lanka Proudly celebrated International Women’s Day at Full Moon Hotel in Katunayake. The chief guest of the event was the Honorable Sumudu Athukorala, Divisional Secretary of the Katana Divisional Secretariat.

Several trade unions and civil organizations from the region participated in the event, including the Dabindu Collective, RED Organization, the Garment and Textile Workers’ Union, the Voice of the Plantation People Organization, and the regional initiative Asia Floor Wage. Technical support for the event was provided by the Biya Production team.

Standup Movement Lanka, which actively works across four key sectors—Free Trade Zone workers, workers representing the LGBTQ community, informal sector workers, and migrant workers—was represented by a group of delegates at the event. Additionally, cultural performances were supported by the preschool affiliated with Standup Movement Lanka.
